My Approach to Skin

My philosophy when it comes to treating skin is a 360 degree inside and outside approach.

I've had my own skin and aesthetics clinic for over 11 years, and in that time the science, technology and the way we approach skin have changed considerably.

We now understand so much more about how what's happening internally influences the long term health and appearance of our skin, and how it can either support or undermine what we're trying to achieve with skincare and professional treatments.

You can't out treat an internal environment that's working against you.

How I work

When clients come to me for skin strategies or professional skin treatments, my approach combines a personalised external and internal skin health protocol.

I'm not interested in quick fixes. I'm interested in long term skin health and empowering my clients to do the bulk of the required work at home, because ultimately, what you do every day is far more impactful on your skin and what you're trying to achieve than the hour or two you might spend with me every couple of months.

1

I start by examining your skin externally, understanding your concerns, what you want to achieve, and looking at your current skincare, nutrition and lifestyle. We look at what you're already doing, what's helping and what might be working against you.

2

I use specialised technology to objectively measure the carotenoid levels in your skin, which directly correlate with your internal oxidative stress status.

3

High internal inflammation will be one of the main factors contributing to any skin problems you're experiencing, and high levels of oxidative stress mean the collagen we're trying to stimulate through professional treatments will be degraded faster than we're able to produce it.

We need to treat these factors alongside what your skin looks like externally.

4

I then factor in the appropriate professional treatments that you can't do at home yourself, such as microneedling, skin boosters and mesotherapy, when your internal environment and external skin are in an optimal position to respond to what we're trying to achieve, rather than performing treatments too early and you not receiving the benefits you're paying for.

Stop Wasting Money on Skincare, Supplements and Homecare Devices That Aren't Right for You

If you're fed up with spending money on skincare products, homecare devices and skin supplements that promise amazing results but don't deliver, I get it.

You've probably already spent an absolute fortune trying to improve your skin, but there's so much noise out there, with everyone telling you what products you need, what devices to buy, what collagen supplement you should be taking and what treatments you should be having, that it's almost impossible to decipher all that information and apply it to your own skin unless you're an expert in skin.

I am.

I look at your skin, your skin carotenoid score, what you're currently doing, your lifestyle and, most importantly, what you want to achieve.

Then I recommend what you actually need.

I don't just hand you a protocol and leave you to figure everything out for yourself. I'm here to guide you through the process, answer your questions and make adjustments as we go.

I'm here to be your expert skin advisor, to help you stop having to guess what's best for you, stop wasting money and start seeing results.
